Lorch is providing maximum performance and excellent welding behaviour for electrode welding with a new type of technology. Even under challenging operating conditions at the generator or on 200 m long cables, the arc of the new X 350 presented at the EuroBlech trade fair remains absolutely stable thanks to the innovative MICOR technology. Even the thickest electrodes, also CEL and special electrodes, are welded effortlessly due to the MICOR performance addition. With the X 350, Lorch is bringing an extremely robust machine absolutely compatible with all terrains onto the market and is setting a new standard for electrode welding. Built for use in extreme conditions, the machine is equipped with everything that is needed for harsh construction site and assembly operation: compact external dimensions, fall safety of up to 60 cm as well as spray water and dust protection.
The MICOR technology of the X 350 acts like a turbocharger for a car. A significant performance addition is achieved in an extremely compact machine. Due to the high power reserves of the patented technology, the X 350 produces an intensively burning and permanently stable arc which is also ended in a controlled way by the control logic when removing the electrode. Whether at the generator, on long cables up to 200 m or in the case of high mains power fluctuations, the MICOR technology of the X 350 guarantees a machine performance which otherwise can only be provided by significantly larger and heavy equipment. Even 8 mm electrodes and CEL electrodes up to 6 mm can be welded easily. The X 350 has Hotstart, Pulse- Function, Anti-Stick and Arc-Force regulation technology as standard.
In addition to the MICOR technology, the X 350 is impressive due to its extreme robustness. Due to the special crash protection, the machine withstands a fall of up to 60 cm and remains completely operational. The outstanding shielding against dust and the all-round protection against the ingress of spray water and foreign bodies (protection class IP 34) ensure welding without interruptions. The newly developed, continuous base construction guarantees stability and high torsion resistance. This also enables the machine to be set down in accumulated water. Very easy operation, typical for Lorch, e.g. due to the direct selection of different electrode types and the ampere-exact welding current display, is also included as standard for the X 350. A machine variant with integrated polarity inverter switch is also available as different hand remote controls.
With only 18.5 kg, the X 350 is currently the absolutely lightest machine in its class. It is impressive due to its robustness, the advanced "3 steps and weld" operating concept and guarantees maximum performance even under extreme conditions. It is therefore ideally suitable for all mobile use, e.g. in pipeline construction, in maintenance and repair, for industrial assembly or also for railway track construction.
