The new P-Series is consistently designed for groundbreaking high end inverter technology with infinitely variable output adjustment. The latest MIG/MAG technology with impressive result: clean ignition, dynamic welding choke, perfect C0² characteristics, easy restart due to permanently pointed wire end, automatic end crater filling, automatic arc length equalisation during welding of tack welds are only some of the many benefits of the MIG/MAG power package. The Lorch P-Series is available with 350 A, 450 A and 550 A and is impressive due to optimum duty cycle values designed for daily use in thick plate machining.
The P-Series is supplied in two operating options: as "Basic" variant with voltage / wire feed regulation and Quatromatic for the optimised welding of the start, welding and end phase in 4-stroke mode and as "Synergic" variant with synergy operation and SpeedArc function for up to 30% faster welding. As well as the pure speed benefit, the strongly focussed arc for this process makes possible a significantly better penetration depth behaviour, the welding of small seam opening angles of only 40° and also a long wire stick out for welding in narrow joints as the SpeedArc arc is also ideal for mastering long, free wire ends.
The new P-Series will be available from January 2009.
