No fear - No robots
No project teams - No millions
Welding automaters think in terms of robot technology, think about robot technology in large quantities. Welding machine manufacturers think in welding units, not in automation. Nobody thought about the flexible small, medium quantities of medium sized businesses, which could earn much more money with automated welding. Not worthwhile - too varying. And if they did - then it was just improvised.
Prototypes were developed and frequently ended up in tinkering. Perfect soloists remained immovable. The most expensive solutions turned into compromises. There was no conductor. No real working data system which could put the individual components together to form an orchestra. One could do this - another one could do that... But it is all different now. LorchAutomation is like an an orchestra kit having all required components for welding automation in small and medium sized series. Headed by the conductor LorchNet. 5 violins, 2 clarinets, the viola. Your requirements determine the component system. MIG-MAG, MIG-MAG pulsing, TIG. From setup to automated welding it only takes an average of about 1,5 hours; another hour to understand the technology and to work independantly on your own.
This system is fully and completely developed - because things, which are not really good, do not leave our premises.
